Raven’s Virtual Art Gallery

Artist, Raven, held a virtual art gallery over this past weekend that I attended. Her artwork is so beautiful and the messages behind them are profound. I had the opportunity to speak with her while she was in the gallery and discuss with her the inspiration behind some of the pieces.

I attended the art gallery with a friend over zoom, and it was a great experience to participate in together. Viewing art with someone is a special experience where you can get to know someone’s depth more than you would if you were having an ordinary interaction.

This experience made me more mindful of other people. Art allows us to connect and to be reminded of the rich inner lives of others. Art touches our soul and lifts us up by bringing us deeper in relationship with ourselves and what matters to us.

With the recent passing of Mental Health Day, the idea of suicide prevention is at the forefront. Delving into art can promote a reverence for life, the lives of others and your own life. A remembrance that there are expansive experiences beyond our own adds to this reverence of life that art inspires.

She also teaches a course, that I took, called Spiritgram, where you learn how to grow your following while staying true to who you are. The instructions helped me gain followers, while aligning with my purpose. I love how I did not have to compromise the integrity of my work or my character to gain more followers. I even gained 70 in one day on my personal account.

What virtual events are you taking part in? What have you learned from them? Tell me in the comments.
